Key Business Finance

Key Business Finance Ltd ("KBFL") and Key Business Finance Corporation plc ("KBFC") were founded in 1988 to meet the financial needs of the legal profession. As fully integrated subsidiaries of Heritable Bank they also structured financial solutions for accountants, dentists, chartered surveyors and many other professions.

On 15 October 2008 KBFL and KBFC entered Administration. The appointments were made by the directors. Alan Bloom and Maggie Mills of Ernst & Young LLP were appointed as Joint Administrators of KBFL and KBFC.

The Administrators have concluded that both KBFL and KBFC have no remaining properties which might permit a distribution to creditors. Therefore, the Administrators have ended the Administrations and both companies have now been dissolved by the Registrar of Companies.

The Insolvency Practitioners Association in the UK authorises Patrick Joseph Brazzill to act as an Insolvency Practitioner under section 390(2)(a) of the Insolvency Act 1986 and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland in the UK authorises Thomas Merchant Burton to act as an Insolvency Practitioner under section 390(2)(a) of the Insolvency Act 1986. The Insolvency Practitioners Association in the UK and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in the UK authorise A R Bloom and M E Mills to act as Insolvency Practitioners under section 390(2)(a) of the Insolvency Act 1986. The affairs, business and property of the Company are being managed by the Joint Administrators who act as agents of the Company only and without personal liability.
